Delete your data
Control the information stored by Laura.
No Laura online account
The current Laura app does not create an online Laura account. Learning history, tutor chats, preferences, bookmarks and saved area selections are stored in the app on your device.
Delete learning progress
- Open Laura and go to Settings.
- Under Data, choose Delete all progress.
- Read and confirm the deletion prompt.
This resets learning progress and related reading progress. It is not a promise to erase every setting, tutor conversation or downloaded file.
Delete tutor conversations
Use the tutor's Start over control to clear its conversation. To remove all local app data, use Android's app-storage controls below.
Remove all local Laura data
- On Android, open Settings → Apps → Laura → Storage (the labels vary by device).
- Choose Clear storage / Clear data and confirm.
- Optionally uninstall Laura.
Clearing app storage removes local app data and downloaded files held in that storage. Android or Google Play can manage some download or backup copies separately. Check your device's backup settings to remove or disable saved backups and prevent restoration. App deletion does not cancel or refund a Google Play purchase or delete Google's purchase records.
